Remember, Terry receives hundreds of letters from people, who wish a response, but there is not a return address, and almost as bad they scribble their name and he has no clue as to what the name is. It is extremely frustrating for him as he wants to respond, but cannot for lack of a legible return address and or name.
With his writing schedule Terry does not have the kind of time that it takes to open all the boxes he used to get from people to sign. What is worse is nearly ALL of these people forgot a return address and or proper IF ANY postage! As a loyal fan and a friend I'm sure you can see how this would be upsetting in the extreme.
